Applications are invited from eligible Indian citizens for recruitment against various Group
‘C’ post in Pay Band of ` 5200-20200/- with Grade Pay of ` 1800/- and 1900/- released to under
mentioned stations/units in Central Air Command. The eligible candidates are to apply only for
one post at one place only.
Indian Air Force (IAF) Recruitment 2015 in Uttarakhand released an advertisement for recruitment against various Group ‘C’ posts to various stations/units in Central Air Command. The Indian Air Force is the air arm of the Indian armed forces. The eligible candidates are to apply only for one post at one place only.It was officially established on 8 October 1932 as an auxiliary air force of the British Empire and the prefix Royal was added in 1945 in recognition of its services during World War II. Its primary responsibility is to secure Indian airspace and to conduct Aerial warfare during a conflict.
format given below are required to be addressed to the Air Officer Commanding/ Station
Commander/ Commanding Officer of the place of vacancy at unit address given in column no 2
of the place of vacancy in the chart given above along with following documents (a) Passport size
photograph facing camera, attested by Gazetted Officer duly pasted on application form. (b) Attested
copy of date of birth certificate or Matriculation Certificate or School Leaving Certificate. (c)
Certificate of SC/ST/OBC/PH issued by a competent authority. (d) True copy of Employment
Exchange registration card, if any. (e) Copy of experience certificate. (f) Self-addressed envelope
of size 23 cm X 10 cm bearing ` 25/- postage stamp. (g) Character Certificate issued by
Gazetted officer or Principal of the School/College or Village Pradhan. (h) Application should
reach to addressee on or before 30 Apr 2015.
Age Limit:
The age limit for Unreserved Category candidates is from 18 to 25 years as Apr 2015. In case of candidates from Reserved Category, the age relaxation is as follows: - (a) Up-to 30 years for SC/ST and up-to 28 years for OBC. (b) Age limit for the post of LDC only 18 to 27 years. The relaxation is applicable for SC/ST/OBC where post is reserved. (c) The age limit for the vacancy reserved for Ex-servicemen is the total service rendered in Armed Forces plus 3 years shall be relaxed for the purpose of calculation of age limit. (d) Up to 37 years for the candidates belonging to Physically Handicapped category. (e) Up to 40 years and 42 years for OBC and SC/ST candidates respectively belonging to Physically Handicapped category. 3. Written Examination/Interview. Candidates, whose application are found complete and correct in all respects will be called for written examination/interview to be held on 28 Jun 2015 by the respective AOC/Stn Cdr/CO. The admit card to the eligible candidates will be issued by AOC/Stn Cdr/CO. No TA/DA is admissible to the candidates appearing for examination/ interview. In case of large number of candidates appearing for interview the Commanding Officer will decide to call the candidates on the same date or subsequent days.
Selection Procedure
The selection process will comprise of written examination/interview to be held on 28 Jun 2015 by the respective AOC/Stn Cdr/CO.
