Online Applications are invited by the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) for the below mentioned posts.
1) Personal Assistant Group B (Non Gazetted / Ministerial)
2) Jr. Intelligence Officer Group-C (Non Gazetted / Non Ministerial)
Vacancies : 74 posts.
Personal Assistant: 42 Posts (UR - 13, OBC - 08, SC - 13, ST - 08)
Jr Intelligence Officer : 32 Posts (UR - 18, OBC - 07, SC - 05, ST - 02)
Pay-Scale: Appointees will be Paid Salary as per the Salary Rules of Central Government of India. Below is given the Post wise Pay-Scales
For Personal Assistant, the Salary Range will be Rs. 9300 - 34800/ - and grade pay of Rs. 4600/ - (Plus Allowances)
For Jr Intelligence Officer, the Pay-Scale will be Rs 5200 - 20,200 and grade pay of Rs 2400 (Plus Allowances)
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants willing to apply for the above mentioned posts in the Intelligence Bureau, are advised to full fill the below mentioned eligibility conditions
Age Limit: Applicants age must be in between 18 to 27 years (As in Closing Date). There will be age relaxation for Ex-Serviceman and Reserved Category Candidates
For Personal Assistant Post: Applicant must have passed the 12th Class, along with Knowledge of Stenography. Desirable: Applicants must have knowledge of Computer Operations viz Windows, MS-word etc
For Jr Intelligence Officer : Applicant must have passed 10th Class along with 2 years ITI training in Radio Technician, Computer, Communication etc.
Selection Process: The Selection for these posts comprises of a Written test (For both posts) and Skill test in Stenography for the post of Personal Assistant while Skill test in relevant trade for Jr Intelligence Officers and followed by Interview
The written test is an Objective type test that contains Questions on General Awareness, Reasoning, English and Mathematical Aptitude. The Duration of written test if 1:30 Hours and carries a weight age of 100 marks
How to Apply ?
Application Fees: General and OBC candidates need to Rs 50 as Application cum Examination fees. The Application fees can be paid either through Challan form in any SBI branch or by using the SBI Net Banking, Credit Card/Debit Card facility.
Women candidates and candidates belonging to SC and ST communities are exempted to pay the application fees.
Online Applications: Applications submitted only through online mode will be accepted. So candidates are advised to submit their applications online at the Official Website of MHA (www.mha.nic.in) .
