Profile:
Will be responsible for reducing risk of accidents and injuries with in work place by avoiding unsafe acts and unsafe conditions.
Conducting fire drills and refreshers trainings to emergency response teams.
Issuing of all safety work permits.
Monitoring all engineering contractors safety requirements
Raising purchase requisitions for all materials required for safety and OHC and follow up with purchase dept.
Compatibility study of raw material.
Conducting safety inspections in all work areas and reporting hazards.
Conducting need based safety training to all contract workers.
Demonstration of PPE and Fire equipment to all employees.
Maintaining fire hydrant system and first aid fire appliances are in good working condition.
Smooth functioning of OHC.
Procurement of medicines.
Safe storage and handling of chemicals.
Conducting safety committee meetings of production Engineering & non plant and fulfilling recommendations.
Conducting work area and sound level monitoring.
Root cause analysis of all first aid injuries and illness.
