Major Industrial Infrastructure being developed by SIDCUL includes
• Integrated Industrial Estate at BHEL, Haridwar
• Integrated Industrial Estate at Pantnagar
• IT Park, Dehradun
• Pharma City - Selaqui, Dehradun
• Growth Centre at Pauri
• Integrated Industrial Estate at Sitarganj

For attracting new investments, SIDCUL’s new headquarters has already taken a new corporate look and plans are afoot to set up two new industrial estates. “We will make an environment where we will be able to attract new investments in our state. When I was inside the SIDCUL office, I felt like I was in New York,” said Chief Minister Vijay Bahuguna.

Bahuguna said his government would provide all facilities to the new units on the lines of Bangalore and Hyderabad.

Besides the State Government, SIDCUL has equity participation from UBI, OBC and SIDBI. Other banks are also in the process of participating in its equity. This has led to a high degree of professionalism and autonomy in the functioning of the Corporation. The spate of concessions available for Industrial ventures in Uttarakhand along with the proactive govt. and facilitative environment has lead to more than a thousand EOI’s with SIDCUL, which entail an investment of around Rs. 20,000 Crores

Managing Director SIDCUL Rakesh Sharma is equally optimistic.

Industrialists have expressed serious concern over poor industrial waste disposal mechanism in SIDCUL area and urged the Government to make the existing industrial waste treatment plant in SIDCUL functional.
Blaming the officials for the present situation of industrial waste disposal system in SIDCUL, the representatives of various industries urged the Government to immediately make the industrial waste disposal system functional and took up the matter with DS Garbyal, CDO, Udham Singh Nagar, on Tuesday.
The entrepreneurs of various industries also drew the attention of the CDO towards poor electricity situation that the industries have been facing and urged the local administration to enhance the capacity of transformers of the Danpur feeder system so that power supply to the industries could be improved.
At the same time the industrialists also urged the local administration to improve the transport facilities to the industrial areas like SIDCUL,

Expressing concern over plying of ‘over-speeding and overloaded dumpers in industrial areas.
Due to rash and negligent driving of the dumper/truck drivers, there is always fear of road accidents in the industrial areas where movements of occasional visitors and office staff continue every time apart from routine industrial activities, the industrialists stated. Keeping in view these
concerns, the industrialists urged the local administration to look into the matter and provide safe and smooth public transport so that industrial employees and visitors may not have to face any difficulty.
Besides, the industrialists also asked the local administration to improve the drainage system in industrial areas on priority basis so that cleanliness of the area could also be maintained.
In the meanwhile, the CDO  assured the industrialists to look into their concerns on priority basis and also stressed on the need to have better coordination between the officials and industrialists.
